Gringo responds to Prophet Angel's 'insult'. He says Prophet Angel needs serious counselling

"Gringo" Lazarus Boora
One of the country's most decorated comedians, Lazarus 'Gringo' Boora, has taken an open swipe at Spirit Embassy founder Prophet Uebert ANgel who poked him with a scathing statement describing him as a 'small man'.

Prophet Angel was quoted as saying: "Big people don't talk about small people and that is the reason why you see Denzel Washington doesn't talk about Gringo."

In an interview with a local newspaper, Gringo had no kind words for the 'miracle money' Prophet.

"I don't want to talk about that man, I have no time to fight with him. Handinde sadza kumba kwake, VAPFANA VAKAUYA ZVINO KUBVA MHIRI VANZWA KUTI KWAITA MA US$ DOLLAR kuZimbabwe. They are just there to make money and I wish the likes of the late Pastor Chiweshe were alive to groom him. HE NEEDS SERIOUS COUNSELLING and I doubt if he has even read the bible.

"Prophet Makandiwa must teach this young man, hatimuzivi isu, mashoko ake nemaitiro ake haana huMwari mukati. Of course anoita mapipi ake asi hazvina tsarukano," fumed Gringo.

Gringo recently revived his career and starred in a re-make of Gringo. The project was directed by top filmmaker Ben Mahaka and scripted by Enoch Chinhombori who is currently based in Botswana.

Prophet Angel, who claims to possess some 'prophetic powers' has recently received scathing attacks from all walks of life over his alleged miracle money where he claims to mysteriously produce thousands of dollars from nowhere during his church services.

Finance Minister Tendai Biti challenged Prophet Angel to produce at least $10 Billion and deposit the funds into the Government's bank account, if it was true that he surely can produce money.

This week, Reserve Bank Governor Dr Gideon Gono advised the flamboyant preacher to take it easy on miracle money. Dr Gono warned Angel to try something else other than miracle money as that would get him (Angel) into trouble for violating several international monetary rules and regulations.

Happy Times : Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe and John Nkomo Dec 14, 2009
Reserve Bank governor Gideon Gono:“The sad and untimely departure of our revered Vice President John Nkomo is an incalculable loss to the nation.
“The board of the RBZ, management, staff, my family and I join the Nkomo family, President Mugabe, government and the whole nation in mourning the loss of a leader, businessman of impeccable repute and a father whose contribution to the liberation, progress and development of this country places him in the supreme category of departed heroes.
“His unassuming disposition despite his position of authority, knowledge, wisdom and rare credentials made him a personal friend of almost everybody he interacted with. He will be missed by many.”
Education and Sport Minister David Coltart: “I’m very sorry to hear through of the death of Vice President John Landa Nkomo. Although Nkomo was a member of a political party I clash with often, I always had a very cordial personal relationship with him.
“I first got to know him some 27 years ago when many of his colleagues in ZAPU were detained and I as a young lawyer was instructed to represent them. He would often come into my office at Webb, Low and Barry to enquire after his colleagues and we developed a good friendship which stood the test of time.
“In the last four years in Cabinet, we have been able to rekindle that friendship and I always found him a moderating influence in Cabinet. I last saw him when we opened a secondary school together in Tsholotsho last year which was built near the primary school where he went. We had a very pleasant day together and I am pleased that he was able to do this in the twilight of his life.
“I was very impressed with the dignified way in which he dealt with his illness. I will miss him in Cabinet. I convey my deepest sympathy to his family and political colleagues.”
United States Embassy statement: “The Embassy of the United States of America expresses its condolences to the family and the people of Zimbabwe on the death of Vice President John Landa Nkomo.
“Whether as a teacher, a politician, an advocate for Zimbabwe’s independence, or as a public servant, Vice President Nkomo was a patriot who dedicated his life to Zimbabwe’s sovereignty and prosperity.
“As a leader of PF Zapu and Zanu PF, Nkomo played an important role in shaping the course of Zimbabwean history. May he rest in peace.”
Zimbabwe’s ambassador to Senegal Trudy Stevenson on Twitter: “I’m very sorry to learn Zimbabwe’s Vice President John Nkomo has died. Condolences to all. RIP.”

Chitungwiza man's wish to have 30 children led him to have sex with a 14-year old girl

A 25-YEAR-OLD Chitungwiza man yesterday left the court shocked after admitting to sleeping with a minor saying his wish to sire 30 children led him to commit the offence. Tawanda Mupangi of Zengeza 3
Extension, married with an eight-month child, stunned the court when he said that he wanted to take the 14-year-old for a wife.
Mupangi prophesied ignorance before magistrate Ms Rumbidzai Mugwagwa when he said that he could not survive with a single wife, hence the need for the second one.
“I slept with her because a single wife cannot bear me the 25-30 children I need,” he said.
This forced Ms Mugwagwa to call the man’s father from the gallery to inquire whether he had ever suffered any mental illness.
Mupangi, will spend the next eight months in prison.
He was slapped with a one-year prison term with four months of his sentence suspended for the next five years.
Prosecutor Mr Edmond Ndambakuwa proved that on January 12, and at around 4pm, Mupangi called the minor and asked if they could meet.
She came and together, they headed to his friend’s place for the night.
During the course of the night, he asked the minor to be intimate with him and she agreed. The following morning, he took the minor to his brother’s place and the minor’s mother called her inquiring where she was.
After that, the minor’s mother proceeded to Mupangi’s place and took her home. They later went to report the matter to the police leading to Mupangi’s arrest.
